Reason 202: Time

Well done piece by a homeschooling mom.  Love it!

Why Homeschool: The Gift of Time

A couple of tidbits:

I wouldn’t know him[if I didn’t homeschool].

Oh, I’d try as any mother would.  I’d try to absorb every moment as soon as he’d get off that big yellow bus at the end of the driveway. Like my own mother, I’d meet him with milk, cookies, and a smile. But I know he’d be zombiefied.

It’s what happens.  I remember being a zombie after getting off that bus.

Think of how many hours children who leave for public/private school are away from home every day? All they’re missing is getting a paycheck at the end of the week.  And this is childhood?

Siblings get to know each other; they are not just passing by morning, night and weekends. Even if a sibling conflict erupts {no perfection, we have them} we handle it as a family.  More prayer.  More Word.  More time.  I can say though, with all our children, they are increasingly becoming one another’s best friends. I’m seeing it happen.

And much more. Probably one of the best articles I’ve posted here. I’ve lived it. I know what she’s talking about. It really is very, very cool.

Reason 201: Because The Institution Is Run By Saps

First, let’s define sap? The Urban Dictionary defines such slang words and it has this to say:

A fool; someone who is prone to being taken advantage of, or who has been taken advantage of, usually in a situation that is easily perceived by others as foolhardy.
This is the third time Joe bought vanishing cream off the internet; what a sap!
Now with this in mind, suppose someone comes into your home and terrorizes your family all night. Then they kill a couple of your kids and they leave with the message that they did it all in the name of Uchenbopen.  Is your first reaction gonna be to run out and learn all you can about why the followers of Uchenbopen hate you so much?  Are you then going to teach your children about all the good things that you’ve learned that Uchenbopenites have done, and to demonstrate your undying love for its followers so maybe they’ll stop terrorizing you, and will stop killing you so much? Well no, of course you’re not… unless you’re a complete sap.
So here is an interesting news story about the same thing, except it’s not about Uchenbopenites, and it’s not about parents. It’s about Islam and, and it’s about liberal saps in the institution:

Now one more question. Do you think that the institution would be doing the same thing if those killers during 9/11 were Christians? Nope, and most everyday citizens intrinsically know they won’t. So liberals will have to settle for a simple syllogism.  Islam is a religion, Christianity is a religion, so Christianity is evil. Of course, the institution must speak out of both sides of its collective mouth to defend Islam while it at the same time spouts hatred for Christianity.  But it doesn’t seem to have a problem doing just that.

Does this sound wonderful to you? Then by all means get your children down to the little public school and have them taught one sided lies about a murderous religion. Who knows, you may be the first to have a son achieve his harem of virgins in the hereafter.

Reason 199: The NEA

I’ve said here many times that you should not look at that sprawling, flat-roofed, brick building down the street as just a place with some teachers, students learning reading and writing, and a principle. If you think that, you are well down the government Pied Piper’s road of deception. In reality it’s a conglomerate of, not only government bureaucracies, but also hordes of para-government organizations like LGBT, ACLU, GLSEN, Planned Parenthood butchers, and CAIR.

But we don’t want to leave out the teachers “union” in this conglomerate, which acts in lockstep with the DOT and the other evil organization who want to have a say in how your child’s mind will ultimately be programmed.

Here is an article from the fine people at “Lifesite” that shows how these power brokers and organizations all work together toward the same end:

Teachers unions back bill allowing adult males to shower with young girls in Massachusetts

The Massachusetts Teachers Association – the state affiliate of the National Education Association (NEA) – and the American Federation of Teachers Massachusetts announced that they support H.B. 1577. So have two professional organizations of public school administrators: the Massachusetts Association of School Superintendents and the Massachusetts Association of School Committees.

“Groups that should be advocating for children’s safety have turned against parents and endorsed a legal concept that by nature puts children at risk,” Ryan told LifeSiteNews.

The group has compiled a list of incidents in which men have physically threatened, attempted to rape, or otherwise sexually revealed themselves to women and girls in private facilities.

I doubt that most parents have a clue what really is waiting for their children in that flat-roofed government building just down the street. And even when they learn, after the fact, and are “outraged” and “shocked” to kingdom come, they will still cast their vote for the buffoonery that’s bringing it all about. But for now, it’s legal to opt out of this moral malaise, and that’s exactly what you should do.

Reason 198: Because Your Children Are Your Children

Your children do not belong to the state. The state is not your children’s parent, and if you want your child to grow up knowing that, you’re going to have to unteach what the institution teaches by inference mostly, but in more candid times, in bold statements. “It Takes A Village” author, Hillary Clinton, who wants to be Headmaster and Chief of the educational-industrial complex, had this to say:

Ahhh,  no!

Reason 197: Because It’s Not More Money, Stupid

Money won’t solve the nation’s education woes, and there are many woes in need of solving, but love will. I say that knowing that I will be misunderstood by most, simply because that world, “love”, is almost always misused and has become inadequate for conveying the thought it’s supposed to convey. You see, we live in a society that has been so thoroughly steeped in Secular Humanism that it no longer understands “love”. Secular Humanism is a materialistic/naturalistic worldview. So more money actually is interpreted as more love as well as conversely. So when someone, like me for example, contends that the educational-industrial complex doesn’t need more confiscated cash in order to make itself better, we will be speaking a foreign language to the humanist.

But not only does the institution not love your children, it can’t love your children. It’s not even interested in loving your children, nor is it responsible for loving your children. The institution is made up of individuals from top to bottom that love themselves, and because they love themselves, they love the institution, because as part of the institution their fortunes are intertwined with the institution’s fortunes. But ultimately love, not money, will bring about the best fully rounded education you and your child can hope for.

So we have a story today from Western Journal:

Global Jobs Race Doesn’t Offer Participation Trophies

The title gives us a clue where the article is going. The institution expresses love by projecting onto children their own bad feelings, and then it attempts to remove those feelings by patronizing them. They do this by telling them that they deserve a trophy for just showing up. But that’s not love. It’s just a lie. Love teaches reality, and reality dictates something totally different than receiving rewards just because you’re there.

From the article, the first sentence says it all:

…the job of schools is to teach students, [and] not to provide jobs for teachers.

This is a true statement… to a point.  But it’s not true realistic. My guess is that this author, though he is able to articulate the problem well, is not able to think outside the institutionalized education box when it comes to solutions.

In The Wizard of Oz, the Scarecrow wanted a brain, but the Wizard gave him a diploma instead, assuring him that plenty of people with diplomas have no more brains than a scarecrow.  He must have been a wizard because he perfectly predicted the 21st century American education system.

He goes on to comparing American students with a global community. And it is a very gloomy comparison. But I found this to be the most depressing and telling statistic:

We now have a Department of Education that spends about $70 billion a year, yet our students are tied for last in problem solving with the Slovak Republic.

If today’s students were taught real rather than revisionist history, they’d know the Education Department was created in 1979 by President Carter. Mark Twain, Jonas Salk, Thomas Edison, Dian Fossey and millions of other Americans — even Carter! — somehow got better educations than today’s students without any federal involvement.

But I would not say that the government is failing. In fact, I’d say that the government has been successful beyond its wildest dreams. You bear the children. You’re responsible for them when they mess up. You cloth them, feed them, house them, and then you send them to the schoolhouse to be turned into government worshipping robots. What government would call that failure?

But there is a better way for your child. Keep her home. Teach her well, and she will flourish.

Reason 196: Because Only Dead Fish Float Down The Institution’s River Of Distruction

Imagine, if you will, a university professor way back in 1965 proclaiming that it is evil for anyone to oppose two men getting married; or that it was evil to stop a boy who is “confused” about his gender from being allowed to use the girl’s locker room at the schoolhouse. That was a short half century ago, yet we know that that professor would have been considered mentally ill for suggesting such things at that time. So how did we get from the mores of 1965 to today’s morality? Well, the answer is sitting just down the street from your house. It’s a big government building with a flat roof and a fence around it. No matter where you are as you read this, there’s a good chance you’re within walking distance of one of these buildings. And it was inside these buildings that the changes took place, almost imperceptible to those who were not paying attention; to those who trusted that institution because it was the same one that they were indoctrinated in themselves. But little by little, precept by precept, line by line, the schoolhouse changed the thinking of a nation to accept what ought not be accepted.

That was then. This is now, and now we have a story, from the author of Outlasting the Gay Revolution, that looks at the new army of “gay bullies” that are the fruit of the institution. He discusses the goings on in universities around the Western world mostly, but as you read his work, keep in mind a couple of things. First, To be qualified to work in your neighborhood’s  government building, a teacher must be “certified” by these universities. Second, the changes you’re experiencing have not occurred, they are occurring. We are not living in a static reality that exists now in post-Christian America.  We are living in the midst of dynamic times. There is no destination for the institution’s much touted “progress”, only movement… down the river if you will. The indoctrination going on now is just as “cutting edge” as it was back in the forties when the children were being prepared to become the secular humanists by which the roads were paved for the  Supreme Court to overstep it bounds by “outlawing” prayer in school, or in the fifties when children were being prepared to accept the killing of innocent human beings in the womb, and so on… and on…  it goes. While you, dear parent, are simply fighting the present, the institution is preparing your child to accept its abominations in the future.

So keep this in mind as you read this article:

As Predicted, Here Come The Gay Bullies

But also keep in mind as you read that it’s not just “gay bullies”. It’s transgender bullies, wealth redistribution bullies, atheist bullies, anti-family bullies, pro-centralized government power bullies, anti-gun bullies, racism bullies, pedophile bullies, planned parenthood bullies, and more. And when you send your child to the bully instituion you are also sending your child an unspoken message that says, “dear child of mine, I accept these bullies.” So don’t be surprised to discover that your child has floated down the river, like a dead fish, that you put him in. Best to swim against the river, and the best way to do that is to not put your child in the rapids in the first place.

Reason 195: Because The Institution Harms Your Childrens

The institution harms your children, or it indoctrinates them to harm others. But before I go on, let’s look at that word harm. Secular Humanism teaches that man can judge wrongness by using harm as a basis. In this line of reasoning, the word “harm” is defined narrowly in the beginning. We are told that there is nothing wrong with unnatural sexual relations because it doesn’t harm anyone, for example. As time has progressed we see this word expanding into the humanist mold that causes it to take on a form defined by elitist. The further you follow the reasoning, the more the word morphs into something entirely different. On university campuses, for example, we see “safe places” where students can supposedly go to escape the danger of any harm to their “sensibilities”. Of course, it’s the institution that unilaterally decides which “sensibilities” are deemed worthy of protecting, and which ones it declares open season on assaulting. And always the elites will look to themselves, and the wisdom they believe they possess to determine what deems worthy of protecting from harm. And like a broken record, they point to “science” as a basis for their conclusions. But you will notice that they only accept “science” and “evidence” that supports conclusions that they’ve already drawn, and they simply reject any science that would challenge their forgone conclusions.

So here we have a story from the American College Of Pediatrics that will send elites and their minions scurrying for safe places. Evidently this organization doesn’t realized that it’s sinning against elitism to publish such heretical studies.

Gender Ideology Harms Children

The article is a list of common sense statements based on what, in a more sane time, was obvious. It also delves into the dangers of diabolical social/medical experimentation on children who exhibit what adults interpret as “gender confusion”.

Here are few of its points:

1. Human sexuality is an objective biological binary trait: “XY” and “XX” are genetic markers of health – not genetic markers of a disorder.

3. A person’s belief that he or she is something they are not is, at best, a sign of confused thinking.

4. Puberty is not a disease and puberty-blocking hormones can be dangerous.

6. Children who use puberty blockers to impersonate the opposite sex will require cross-sex hormones in late adolescence. Cross-sex hormones are associated with dangerous health risks including but not limited to high blood pressure, blood clots, stroke and cancer.

8. Conditioning children into believing a lifetime of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex is normal and healthful is child abuse.

Of course, the institution could not care less about the pain and suffering they bring, or the harm they do. Is this the sort of institution you’re willing to send your children to, to be formed into the adult they will become? Does that make sense to you? This sort of dangerous and harmful thinking is top down, starting with the president, then the Department of Education, and almost every individual bureaucratic minion in between. Any opposition to their perverted sexual agenda will be overrun, and the opposition dealt with swiftly. The institution is a lost cause. Get your children out.

Reason 194: Because No Matter What The Institution Feeds Your Children’s Bodies, They Still Feed Their Minds And Hearts Garbage

Ok, I’m shocked. Not about the institution, but about this parent who is upset over her child’s lunch.

Here Is The School Lunch That Has Parents Very Upset

I was a little incredulous about this statement from the parent:

“I can go pay a dollar for a lunchabe and get more food in it,” added Kaytlin’s father Vince Holton. “Schools are responsible for children while they’re at school, they’re responsible for feeding the children.”

Ahhh, nope. Lunchables don’t cost just a dollar, and neither does this meal, even though that’s all she expects to have to pay for it. The rest will come from the thousands of people paying taxes who don’t even have a child in that building. But nevermind all that, the school is not responsible for her child. She is! And it’s irresponsible of her to send her to this schoolhouse even if they fed him a steak dinner every day.

Reason 193: Because Those In The Militant Perversion Community Have Declared War On Your Children

Here is a story of a battle, one of many which go on all the time, all around us. Some parents have temporary victories in these battles, and some are clear losses, but no matter how they are decided, the parents will always be the ultimate losers. This particular battle is no different.

In this one we have some parents who are fighting the machine, but no matter, they will still lose their children. They don’t seem to understand that their children are human beings, and as such, learning is much more than the three “R’s”.  What is a young person to think when they know that their parents know that the institution loves perversion, defends perversion, and is forced by law to teach perversion, and yet their parents send them there anyway?

If I, as a homeschooling parent, for example, sent my child to the pedophile next door for thirty hours a week, and all the while the child knows that I know that he is a pedophile, and, he knows that I know that the pedophile will be attempting to convince him that his ways are good and righteous, what will he intuitively conclude? How dense would he have to be to conclude anything else? Human beings are not that stupid. Much more is caught than taught.

Here is the story. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. But the real battle was lost when they sent their children to the institution in the first place.

Tennessee county battling LGBT onslaught over “gay” club in high school. Showdown at school board meeting this Monday. MassResistance coming to help!

A couple of notes:

  1. I’m all for fighting these sorts of fights. I’m just against sending my children to be taught by the same institution I’m fighting the fight against.
  2. There are great people in the institution. The parents being spoken of in this article look like a great bunch, even those on the board. But Americans sell their votes for handouts and pet peeves, and the institutionalization of perversion is one of the things the votes that they sell are being used to gain. The schoolhouse is the number one tool in the work of institutionalizing perversion. The fine people who actually do work in the institution will not prevail in a land that has given itself over to these perversions. If they want to win the fight, they’ll have to look down the road beyond their own lives, and prepare their children to be like arrows they will shoot into the future. That starts with a good indoctrination into a Biblical worldview. Sorry, but that’s just the reality.
