Reason 264: Because Sometimes Going With The Majority Is Fine

I was involved in an on-line discussion concerning the topic of redefining marriage  a while back. (I refuse to call it “gay marriage” because, for one it’s not gay, and to do so is to allow those who want to alter reality to frame the debate. Besides, there’s no such thing as “gay marriage”. Two men or women simply can’t be married. To say that they can one must redefine the word. I don’t want to convince people that my way is right. I want to convince people that words mean things.  But I digress. On with this topic.) He argued that democracy is progressing. But I made the case that in all but one case that I could think of, it was not the will of the people that redefined the word, but elitist activist judges. Every time it was put to a vote by the people it got voted down. The only exception was in Iowa if my memory serves me right. There the legislature actually redefined the word through the process laid out by the law. His response? Crickets.

My point is that people are going to be people. I find myself in agreement with the masses on a lot of things.  Civil, orderly society requires it. And besides, it’s in our basic makeup. You won’t, for example, find people walking around naked at the grocery store. We tend to sleep during the night and are awake in the daytime. Man is religious. And a basic family consists of, at the very least, a man and a woman. And even if it is just a man and a woman there is an expectation that there will be children. That’s family. To attempt to change all that is like compressing a spring. You can compress it and hold it, yes, but it takes continuous exertion on your part. The minute you remove the exertion, it will spring back into its preset shape. The way I see it, that’s exactly what a few people in powerful places are attempting to do. They’re exerting pressure on society. But eventually society will spring back to the shape that conforms to the basics of human existence; because society is made up of people, and people are going to do what people do. Indeed they were created by a creator to do just that.

So when I see videos like this I see a bunch of people who are living out the line about the emperor wearing invisible-clothing. What they see is a naked emperor. But they know that to actually admit that would be to admit that they’re not one of the upper-crust, sophisticated elites. It’s funny how children don’t care so much about such things. Anyway, this is what “exertion” looks like. And yes, the schoolhouse catches the brunt of the exertion because young, naive, malleable minds are the easiest to convince, and the hardest to change once they’ve been indoctrinated properly. So it should not surprise us that the liberal elitists at the New York Times takes us to the schoolhouse for this discussion:

So it should not surprise us that the liberal elitists at the New York Times take us to the schoolhouse for this discussion:

You don’t have to watch this very long before you figure out that Mr. Jenner has fallen out of favor with the free-thinking, diversity-worshipping, open-minded, tolerant liberals at this old rag.  Why? Because they won’t tolerate anything different than a lock-stepped adherence to their altered reality.  They won’t because they can’t. And they can’t because continuous exertion is required. So if you’ve ever wondered if this bunch actually loved and cared for the poor confused souls out there who are buying their lie, wonder no more. It’s not about “equality”. It’s not about helping the poor “transgendered folks. No, it’s about power, because exertion of this magnitude requires lots of it.  You can be a sexually well human being all day long, live in a normal family, and still be a liberal hack, and that’s okay. But if you have psychological problems that fit into their war on the family, and yet you don’t toe their political line, then something’s wrong with you. You’re sick. You’re evil. You must be destroyed.

So to sum this up: when masses of people send their children to an institution that is controlled, from its highest levels, by those who have committed themselves to a war on the basic building block of humanity, those same masses ought not to be surprised when the outcome is not much to their liking in general. And more specifically, they ought not to be surprised if their children turn out to be little warriors, raging against reality themselves, and paying a heavy price for the opportunity.

But God, in His infinite mercy, provided a way out. He’s kept the door open so that you are not coerced into sending your child to be under the charge of those who think in the way that the makers of this video think. You can keep them home, and teach them according to what has always been, and will always be, normal.

  1. Thank GOD my kids are not in school. This is crazy.

  2. It wasn’t the Iowa legislature — it was the Iowa judges who said Iowa’s definition of marriage was unconstitutional. LEFTIST judges who listened to the huge amount of money entering the state by homosexual activists. When time came for re-election, two got ousted.

  3. It is so sad in the video that all the kids think Jenner is a “she” — not a single on stopped and said, “HEY, he’s just a mutilated he and not a she!!!”
