Reason 346: Because Words Mean Things

I’ve spoken here before of what I call the “confederacy of evil”. That simply means that the butchers at Planned Parenthood are no different than the democrat party, and that the democrat party is no different than the LGBT, and that the LGBT is no different than the NEA, and so on. They’re all one. They’re a confederacy of evil. They are the education institution.

And since the democrat party is in complete control of the schoolhouse, you can bet that the so-called historical aspect of the first woman president has been beaten into their heads ad-nauseam. But it is a self-contradicting message that your children are hearing because words mean things.

School District Says Children Shouldn’t Be Called Boys or Girls

You can read the article if you like, but the title says it all. Boy doesn’t mean boy and girl doesn’t mean girl, unless they say it does… I guess.

Does it take a critical thinker to see the self-contradiction? Can the confederacy of evil have it any old way they want? The answer, why yes they can, because they have indoctrinated millions to be unthinking and uncritical. Does no one see that if boy and girl are meaningless, then so is the first “woman” president.

This is not healthy. In fact, it’s sick. And it will make its way into your child’s mind, and in your child’s mind, you will have helped put it there because you are affirming what is taught in school simply because you send your child there to be taught. But there is a better way to raise your children. First, keep them far far away from the confederacy of evil.

Reason 345: Because The Consequences Of Your Ignorance Can Be Fatal

Here is a very, very sad story:

13-Year-Old Kills Himself and Leaves Heartbreaking Note After School ‘Does Nothing’ To Stop Bullies

This poor child was not sheltered. He was supposed to go into an institution that taught him that he was nothing but a sack of chemicals, and he was supposed to be toughened up anyway rather than just give up. But he didn’t. He took his own life.

Parents underestimate the brutality in the schoolhouse by the little barbarians learning to be big barbarians. There’s no way you can know everything your child’s going through.  And there’s nothing you can do about it even if you did. (see yesterday’s article) His most poignant indictment was that “the teachers did nothing.”

I know that this isn’t common, at least the suicide part of it. But I also know that the bullying is very common. And I personally would not take solace in the fact that my child went through this, and yet didn’t kill himself.  Better for him not to go through it at all in my opinion. My heart aches for every child thrown into the grim world of the institution.

Reason 344: Because A Child Needs Discipline, Not A Wrap Sheet

This article introduces a new concept I’ve not heard before: “overcriminalization“:

Burping in Class? You’re Under Arrest


  • Boy wouldn’t quit fake burping in class
  • He was put into the hallway but still stuck his head in and burped anyway
  • Police were called
  • Boy was arrested
  • Parents sued
  • Made its way to the 10th circuit court
  • Parents lost

This is a tough one and illuminates the problems with lawlessness and lack of recourse. If you’ve ever had charge over younger people, and you’ve had to deal with one who had figured out that there was nothing you could do to force him to do what he didn’t want to do, you understand the problem. Some children figure it out, and they simply disregard authority. They know you have no recourse. Why don’t you have any recourse? Because force is outlawed.

Enforcement always involves a measure of threat, which is why we’re told that  “Ceasor bears the sword”.  But look around. What happens when a few people don’t like something? Why they burn their neighborhood down? And what does Ceasor do? Nothing. Why?  He dares not use the sword because he fears that he will incite the wrath of the barbarian even further. Now where did they get such a notion? Certainly, the institution that indoctrinated them didn’t teach them any differently.

I just saw this video the other day. I think it must be taken from a movie or television show or something. But look at the expression on the second police officer’s face when the one “get’s out of line”, by threatening the use of force:

So what is a teacher to do? His hands are tied. The institution is impotent. It has tied its own hands. The government’s hands are tied. So what is to be done? Well, for now, since you don’t want to anger the barbarian, you go for the law-abiding citizen.  You play a game of up-the-ante with “criminalization” of typical boyhood behavior on those who still have a little respect for law and order. So I guess rather than corporal punishment administered by the institution, because it wasn’t administered at home, you bring in the police force. But the little future barbarian knows that he’ll be just fine. He knows that he can do as he wishes… because he’s a kid.  And a state that can’t even stomach applying justice to a murderer on death row will never be able to stomach applying some good, old-fashion, wood-shed discipline to a youth who desperately needs it, and is begging for it.

But in your house things are different. You’re not the state, and you’re the best person to apply the rod of correction, not because you hate your child, not at all. No, it’s precisely because you love your child that you teach him that there are consequences to actions. And you do it when those consequences can be applied by loving hand with short term affects, rather than the hands of reality doing it when the consequences will linger and taint.

Reason 343: Because The Government Really Doesn’t Want Your Child Educated

Here is an article by a great of our time, Mr. Thomas Sowell:

Are We Serious About Education?

He starts out with two events as examples:

One of these events was an announcement by Dunbar High School in Washington, D.C., that it plans on August 19th to begin “an entire week of activities to celebrate the grand opening of our new $160 million state-of-the-art school building.”

The painful irony in all this is that the original Dunbar High School building, which opened in 1916, housed a school with a record of high academic achievements for generations of black students, despite the inadequacies of the building and the inadequacies of the financial support that the school received. By contrast, today’s Dunbar High School is just another ghetto school with abysmal standards…

[Abother] high school…  has been ranked among the best high schools in the nation. Its students’ test scores rank first in its district and fourth in the state of California.  But the California State Board of Education announced plans to shut down this charter school — immediately.

Why would the institution rather build buildings and shut down high-ranking charter schools than educate? Because that’s how monopolies have always operated. Who in their right mind would actually do the hard work of educating children when it’s much easier to put on a show and spend other people’s money? And this is especially so when you have the power to shut down anything that might show your incompetence?  Certainly not the institution, because you must realize that the institution’s interests not children. No, its interest is perpetuating itself as the money laundering, indoctrination scheme that it is.

What fascinates me the most though is how many people there are who think they’re not qualified to teach their children, and who are afraid that they would give their children a sub-standard education. Those who think this way have eyes and minds. They see what the school is doing, and what they’re teaching, and yet they are still somehow snowed into thinking that the institution has cornered the market on a decent education.

Yet more and more are seeing the light and are saying goodbye, thank you very much, keep the change but leave me alone.  Don’t be one of the last ones to escape the institution. Get out now. You’ll be glad you did.

Reason 342: Because It’s Dimes For Dollars Cheaper

I’ve pointed out many times here that the schoolhouse is a money laundering scheme. The teacher’s  unions fill political campaign coffers and in return, those politicians increase spending on schools, and round and round it goes. The losers? Taxpayers and students.

Here is an article that discusses the cost of educating a child expensively, with poor results:

What did these schools produce while spending more than $18,000 per student? Not well-educated children.

In the Philadelphia public schools in 2015, according to the National Assessment of Educational Progress scores published by the Department of Education, 80 percent of eighth graders were not grade-level proficient in math. Eighty-four percent were not grade-level proficient in reading.

In the Detroit public schools, 96 percent of eighth graders were not grade-level proficient in math. Ninety-three percent were not grade-level proficient in reading.

In the District of Columbia public schools, 83 percent of the eighth graders were not grade-level proficient in math. Eighty-one percent were not grade-level proficient in reading.

I can’t understand anyone who bases their decision to not home educate on fear of failing their children. Two things to understand. The schoolhouse is lost. Children are natural learners.

And there’s one more thing to understand. Ignorant people make great slaves, and they’re easy to enslave.

Reason 341: Because The Schoolhouse Is The Nanny In The State, And She Will Destroy Your Sons

Boys are in trouble. If your son is like many, perhaps even most sons, he’ll Peter-Pan it until he’s well into his thirties; sitting in the basement playing video games and checking out porn sites. The schoolhouse will do everything in its power to turn him into a feminine, castrated little man who sees himself as a victim of whatever evil there is out there that he’s most prone to be afraid of. In short, the schoolhouse will become the boy’s nanny, and train him to serve the nanny state, and to depend on his husband, the state, to care for and protect him, and to provide him will millions of regulations so that he can never do anything that would hurt himself.

Here we have an article by Jim Daly that’s not about school, per se.  It’s about boys. Let it reintroduce you to the increasingly foreign concepts of risk, danger, and manhood.

The Danger of Over-Protecting Boys

It’s dangerous for your boys. In adolescence, they’ll be confronted with the risk of pornography or face the danger of unhealthy relationships. They’ll need the courage and strength to resist those temptations.

It’s dangerous for the culture as well. The Lord calls good men to risk by going into places like Thailand or Amsterdam and rescuing women from sex trafficking … or by standing with courage in the public square and kicking down walls of untruth … or by going into the world and being a light for Christ.

The bumps and scrapes boys get by risking early in life prepare them for the world they’ll face when they’re older. The church won’t survive without good men in leadership who will risk. And the culture won’t survive if good men are afraid to risk and speak the truth.

As the article states, we need boys to become men. The nanny-state schoolhouse will do everything in its power to prevent that. Real men are difficult to enslave, and the state sees that as a negative, but for you, it will be a positive.

Reason 340: Because Common Core Is A Done Deal. Next? SEL

One of the most fascinating things to watch in the political arena is the battles between those who think as individuals according to principles and those who simply think what they’re supposed to think. Conservatives are more of a group of groups pulling against each other, fighting with each other, and undermining each other. That’s just the nature of the beast. People who are not subject to group think are almost impossible to coalesce into monolithic force. But liberals are a different monster altogether. They are without principle and their thinking was programmed with pre-thought thoughts. Yes, they will call themselves free thinkers, that’s what they’ve been programmed to do. I just want someone to explain to me how free thinker’s thoughts are so aligned with the masses of people who think just like them.

So conservatives fight old battles over and over again and lose while the liberal slave masters are already on to the next big thing. Common core is done. If you send your child to government schools, they will be common-cored.  But there is already another battle on the horizon that conservatives will lose. It’s the latest fad called SEL. (Social Emotional Learning) Someone with some pull had a brainstorm. And now your children will be the guinea pigs.  Here is the article:

CASEL is the big gorilla in the zoo of social-emotional learning, or SEL. Having proved so adept at (or perhaps having given up on) teaching students English, math, science, and history, state progressive-education establishments are joining CASEL to explore more esoteric pursuits. Better to diminish academic content knowledge and push SEL: “self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making.”

Of course there is a way to win this for you. You don’t have to send your child into this brainwashing situation. You can keep them home and give them a decent education. If there’s one thing  one ought to have figured out in a society gone insane, it’s that doing what everyone else is doing might not only be a bad idea, it might be the cause of the insanity.

Reason 338: You Don’t Train Soldiers During Combat.

But you do train them for combat. This is an article written from the perspective of training your child while at the same time sending her to the schoolhouse:

   Key Things Skeptics Will Say to Shame Your Kids for Being Christians

Did you ever stop to think about how arbitrary some things are? Like, when does a boy become a man? The answer? Why 18, of course. Why 18? Because the government says so. Why does the government say so? Who knows? It’s an arbitrary number pulled out of a magical hat somewhere. The reality is a little different however. Adulthood comes much earlier than 18 for the human being. Exactly when varies, but one thing we can know for sure, a five-year-old is not an adult. But that’s about the time most parents, after giving that five-year-old approximately zero training in fighting the good fight, throws her into combat. And then they are surprised when that child grows up and proves, after it’s too late, that she’s already gone.

This article looks at three key accusations your child will face starting very early in her education, and in ways that are cleverly disguised. And even though I disagree with some of the underlying philosophy, I think this article is worth reading. The three accusations are:

  • You’ve been indoctrinated
  • If you allow yourself to think critically, you’ll see there’s no reason to believe in God.
  • Christians are less intelligent than atheists. Studies show it.

In the first one the author and I part ways. It’s my position that all human beings are indoctrinated. I certainly have a doctrine, and I teach my children in the ways of that doctrine. Secular Humanism is a doctrine also. And the schoolhouse will teach your children that doctrine. But either way, your child will be indoctrinated. The only question is, by whom?

Since human beings have a way of seeing themselves individually as the reference point from all things in this world are measured, then they see themselves as neutral. So then, if anyone has a different doctrine on life than their own, then that person is seen as different. Throw in the fact that the schoolhouse indoctrinates into group-think, then the individual’s worldview, which is almost exactly the worldview of every peer, is affirmed by the culture. The young person, therefore, immersed in Secular Humanism and the campus culture only thinks he is thinking critically. If he truly was thinking critically he would see that his thinking is based just as much on faith as the person he sees as an uncritical thinker. He is simply holding as “known” that which is not known, but is only believed.

The last one begs for a defining of terms, like, what is meant by intelligence? It would seem to follow that those who have been exposed to the schoolhouse the most would be the most indoctrinated into the religion of Secular Humanism. So it would only follow that the measure of a person’s “intelligence” is a standard set by Secular Humanism. But think about it. A person is born with a certain level of intelligence. A few have a high level of intelligence, most find themselves in the bell curve, and then some poor souls are simply not very smart at all. So what is the young Christian child to do? Will she be judged as intelligent if she rejects her parent’s relligion, because, you know, that would be the smart thing to do?  Well of course not. That would be silly.

The bottom line is this. When you send your young children into the schoolhouse, you are sending them into a combative situation that no child is equipped to handle, and that no child should be forced to handle. The stakes are incredibly high. It’s not as if the worse thing that can happen to a person is to get a substandard education in this short life. No, the worst thing that can happen will happen in the life that is to come. And the saddest thing of all is, the schoolhouse is going to give your child a substandard education anyway.

Reason 337: Because Every Child Is Unique


Here is an excellent article that talks about what it’s like being a homeschooling Mom:

I Don’t Owe Public Schools My Time

It starts by expanding on the title. But then she goes into one condensed point after another that addresses the advantages of homeschooling and why everyone is qualified to do it. Here are a few of those points:

When I started homeschooling, I had to write down all math problems and I even used my fingers to count sometimes.  I can now do complex mental math problems.  I learned as my kids learned.

I love this one because I have experienced it myself. You will learn with your children. And it’s fun!

You see, I am not a fountain of knowledge.  I don’t want my children to see education as something that should be spoon fed from a teacher.  I want them to see education as the process of learning.  Sometimes that learning process is messy.  Sometimes answers must be sought out.  Sometimes they ask questions that have no answers yet.

Awesome! The thing is, no one is a fountain of knowledge, not even the “certified” teacher down at the schoolhouse. “Knowledge” is a facade, and many times it’s a lie, especially when it comes to things like evolution. We know some things. We have faith in other things. And when those things in which faith is required are taught as scientific fact, it is a lie.

I celebrate uniqueness.  2nd grade for one child will look very different than 2nd grade for another child.  Each child’s abilities, interests, and learning methods are considered when I come up with our learning plans.

The whole grade level thing is a conveyor belt method. Or, as she puts it, “…I learned that grade level distinctions and learning standards are designed for the masses and not for the individual.”

But there’s much more to homeschooling than what she addresses here. Much more. You actually get to watch your children grow up. You have more control over their peers at earlier ages. You have much more time to indoctrinate them, and the schoolhouse has zero time to indoctrinate them.


Just as a note, I would strongly disagree with one thing this writer says:

The public school system is based on the Prussian model of education that inspires group thinking and nationalism.

This may have at one time been true, but public school is extremely anti-nationalism in our current time. (click on “nationalism” in the “categories” to the right to see more on this.)
