Reason 174: Because The Institution Is Full Of Dragons

Below is a great article concerning suicides among young women. The author sets up the point of his article by drawing an analogy from Token’s description of dragons in “The Hobbit”.  He then applies that analogy to modern culture and its rejection of morality and a particularly troubling consequence of that rejection, the sharp rise in suicides by young girls.

The article:

Rescuing Our Maidens from the Culture of Death

Just a bit, but please click over and read it in its entirety:

It will come as no surprise to those who know something about dragons to learn that a dragon-culture will devour the innocent in a feeding frenzy of salacious wickedness. We know of the unholy holocaust of abortion, which devours the innocent flesh of babies, but we sometimes overlook the harmful effect on women that the unleashed dragons inflict. This was brought home to me by a recent article in the UK’sTelegraph which highlighted the fact that suicide had become a plague among British women, reaching record levels.

The schoolhouse is lost in a moral swamp. It can’t help your children, and it won’t. It is beholden to Secular Humanism which offers no reason to exist, nor purpose.

Reason 67: Because Reality Trumps Fiction Every Time

You can pretend you can fly. You can identify as a bird. No one can stop you. You can even think you’re flying when you jump off a cliff. But you can’t pretend that the sudden stop ain’t gonna hurt. Reality will win every time. Playing pretend is a one thing for a child… healthy even. Children pretend all kinds of fun things. But when adults do it, it doesn’t go so well. And when the state does it, it’s down right dangerous.

The latest pretend game by the state is to pretend that homosexuality has always been accepted by all, and is good and righteous, and that throughout history evil has always reared its ugly head by considering it a deviant lifestyle. Nevermind that homosexual activity is unhealthy. If a truth is not liked, just pretend it away.

So here’s an example reported by “The Wichita Eagle” concerning a teacher who takes it on himself to show the children put in his charge a propaganda movie off  Youtube about the evils bound up in being too unsophisticated to see the emperor’s clothing.

From the article:

The movie he showed his eighth-grade students last month portrays a heterosexual girl being raised in a dystopian society where homosexuality is the norm. The girl is bullied by classmates – to the indifference of several teachers and other adults – until she commits suicide.

But the movie is actually closer to reality than analogy. We do live in a dystopian society where homosexuality is normalized. And children do get bullied for holding to historical truths concerning marriage and sexuality. And there is a suicide epidemic. The only difference is that the epidemic is not among homosexuals. Of course, as typical of propaganda, it plays on the emotions while sensationalizing the minute and downplaying the truth.

So the state, at least on this local level, finds itself stuck between a rock and a hard place. On one side you have many of the parents, who for whatever reason still trust the state with their children, who don’t want the state corrupting their minds with lies. And then on the other you have the elitists who run the institution.

The board, consequently, is in a quandary where reality demands that there is no quandary. This teacher should be fired. But he isn’t because he’s an employee of the state, which is gungho for this sort of propaganda.  And if it gets its way with your children, they will be confused too. So solution, don’t let them have their way with your children. See? Problem solved.

Reason 56: Because The Institution Would Rather Your Child Die Than Admit That It Is Accountable To God

There is your schoolhouse down the street. And then there are the cold hearted elitists who are bent on eradicating submission to, or recognition of, anyone or anything but themselves as the final arbiters of truth.

Case in point. Meet Luke Keller, a high school football player. But he wasn’t always that all-American healthy kid. No, he had a bout of setbacks in life.  According to the “Independent Journal” article, “his dad left when he was ten years old, his grandmother, who had lived with him, passed away from cancer, and his grandfather had been sentenced to prison.”  Of course his school had no answers. He began to entertain thoughts of suicide, like so many his age. But then he had an experience with God and those thoughts have since ceased.  So now every time he scores a touchdown for his team, he points to the sky to give any glory that some might want to bestow on him to God, which is right and fitting. But it also rubs the God-hating institution the wrong way.

And of course when we say “God”, we mean the God of Christianity. Most everyone inherently knows that if Luke Keller was a Muslim, the referee would be drummed out of a job for calling a penalty if he gave recognition to Allah. For whatever reason, the institution is infatuated with Islam.

Unfortunately for every poor soul who attends public school however, God is to not be mentioned there because He challenges their authority. Nevermind the positive influence He’s had on Luke Keller, and so many like him. The institution will not be challenged, and if that means some kids commit suicide because of the meaninglessness they instill, then so be it.

But there is a wonderful school that can preach and teach God all it wants. That’s your school… in your own house.
