Remember, For The Younger Generations, “Lockdown” Is Normal

How many times have I heard on the news that some schoolhouse was on “lockdown”? The whole idea has always made me cringe, though I never really knew why. My mind’s eye always sees a schoolhouse with the kids locked in their classrooms because something happened or, so it was thought by the higher-ups, something might happen. Now I get it. It’s amazing how that training is paying off today as we live in a nation on “lockdown”.
