Reason 4, The State Has Lost All Perspective… Completely.

Assault charges?  Really?  And this must seem like a reasonable response to this action, else why would they have taken it.

In this article from, reason .com:

A Pikesville, Maryland, 13-year-old will be charged with second-degree assault for kissing a 14-year-old girl on a dare. The “assault” happened at Pikesville Middle School on Friday. Police were called to the scene.

OK, imagine if you will, that a 13-year-old boy kissed a 14-year-old boy on a dare.  Would the police have been called?  In the state school, the state decides what is an assault worthy of calling the police to take care of a dangerous 13-year-old, and which will be celebrated.  These are institutions of education, state run, but what does this teach?  1)  Equality is a lie.  2) The state will determine who will get the equality and who will be charged with assault.

  1. More thankful each day that this world is not my home.

  2. Well, I read an article that he gave her an “open mouth” kiss; i.e. stuck his tongue in her mouth. Still wouldn’t call it assault, but he should definitely be punished by suspension or something. Stupid kid.

  3. I have to laugh at your #2 here. Lol. Hilarious. Letting th state decide ANYTHING is hilarious, in fact. Better to decide yourself. Homeschooling is best because you, not the state, get to decide EVERYTHING. This includes when to call the police. I would not call the police if a neighbor kissed my daughter, but, whatever. Logic. I would talk to my daughter. I would ask if it was o.k. with her. If not, I would tl her, next time, defend yourself. I would enroll her in a self-defense class. If she was fine with the kiss, we’d have a long talk about not kissing too much and wher to “draw the lines.” The police. Ridiculous.
